Week 4

Day 22

Road to and from work.  Basketball in the evening... still haven't figured out how to bike there and back yet.

Day 23

Took Bruce to work today because I had to run an errand for the upcoming CDPI Conference.  Picked up a big box from corporate and road it down to Tim at IUPUI.  He was grateful and impressed that I got a box that size on a bike.  Wish I snapped a picture!

Day 24

Road to and from work.  Headed up the Monon later to SoBro Cafe.  Unfortunately, none of my favorite waitresses were working, but wine Wednesday was in full effect!  Took College home after dark and stopped by TrendyMinds.  They had ladies on stilts, and a hot air balloon, and music, and fun!  Pleasant surprise.

Day 25

Road to and from work after an AM jog.  Met dad for dinner on the northside.  Could have taken Tony up there but Harry and Izzy's is upscale enough that I didn't want to sweet through my britches.  Bus would have taken 1.5 hours!

This just in:

The City and IndyParks has  proposed changing the hours of operation on all of Indianapolis' Greenways from the current hours of 5am-9pm to 5am-Midnight. We support this change and we see it moving in the right direction.  Remember, just 2 years ago, the hours of all the Greenways were Dawn to Dusk and then last year we worked with the City & IndyParks to change the hours of just the Monon to 5am-9pm. If this change is approved by the Indianapolis Parks Boardtomorrow night, we will have access to all of the Indianapolis' Greenways from 5am-Midnight. While this is not the 24/7 access we were originally pushing for, we are happy with their decision and consider a mutual win for both sides. Furthermore, we will continue working with the City and IndyParks to open all of Indianapolis' Greenways 24/7 in the future.

Thank you for signing the petition and we will keep you abreast of the current and future status of this campaign. We couldn't have succeeded with out you!

Sincerely,

Kevin W Whited

Executive Director
