Long ride home. Got there about noon on 2 hours of sleep.
Took a ride around downtown and was amazed at the sea of people. The Cultural Trail was jammed with hapless out-of-towners paying no attention to their surroundings. This varies only slightly from the hapless locals who pay no attention to their surroundings.
With Wisconsin upsetting the Wildcats, the '76 Hoosiers remain the last perfect NCAA MBB team.
Day 217
Pretty day. Took a ride to O'malia's for provisions. Should be canceling my Green Bean after this week's drop off.
Also checked out the happenings at White River, Military Park, and Georgia St.
Saw a lot of this upon returning home. While traveling I often omitted my state of origin in order to avoid the conversation.

Day 218
Rode to work and left early to meet Pat for the Reds opener. We tooled around Georgia St., lost each other at Killroy's and finally landed at O'Reilly's where we watch Frazier lock up a 5-2 win with his 3 run knock. Also, our bartender was the prettiest woman I've ever seen.
Day 219
Rode to work and then to the Circle for some serious banking. The wet weather was not enough to keep me from completing my taxes.
After work went to library for returns.
Day 220
Got caught in a huge downpour right at the end of my morning run, but things lightened up by 10am. Looking at weather last night, I strategically flexed my schedule to avoid a soaked morning ride.
The evening ride, however, was unavoidable. I sprinted home in an absolute monsoon (hyperbole). My new red riding rain jacket did a great job keeping me dry while my exposed work pants didn't fair so well.
Due to the rain, I elected to drive up to Freewheelin for a volunteer meeting that was moved to next week...
